UL Bare Shaft Pump

Bare shaft pumps are UL-listed and can be mounted and aligned to electric motors, diesel engines, Pelton wheels, PTOs on mobile equipment, or hydraulic motors. All bare shaft pumps come with a UL-approved pressure relief/safety valve that has been tested and approved for use with Fire Lion pumps.

Gear-type positive displacement pumps are used for pumping foam concentrate (AFFF, AR-AFFF, FP, FFFP, High Ex, SFFF, etc.). These pumps are the only type that works effectively in foam systems. Foam concentrate pumps are integral to fire suppression systems for many applications, including but not limited to the petroleum, oil and gas (POG), aircraft hangars, emergency response, and specialty chemical storage industries.
